Making of the dance classes DVD

The Earth is blue like an orange and Le Carré d'Art is large like a Circle of friends: in order to share with everyone her teaching experience, Irena Tatiboit-choreographer and director of this renowned dance school located in Strasbourg-has undertaken the huge project of recording in video all the aspects of her contemporary dance method.

This series of DVDs, starring Le Carré d'Art's actual dance students, presents a series of dance lessons with technique, precision, humor, and didactism. This does not consist in the reproduction of actual classes, but in the patient presentation of movement sequences, accompanied by original musical compositions. Close-ups with further explanations follow each exercise and can be accessed during the exercise by clicking on pointed foot or a bended back. Professional and fun at the same time, these DVDs are aimed at both teachers and demanding dance students.

A few shots from the making of the first DVD at Pôle Sud studio in Strasbourg, July 4 and 5, 2009—Le Carré d'Art's rigor and good mood is about to go round the Earth.         ap (translation: aline lemoine)
